I’m Marcin, the creative force and photographer at OnShades Photography, as well as a proud father to two wonderful boys. Currently nestled in the picturesque county of Norfolk, UK, my journey with photography began in my teenage years when I first cradled a film SLR camera. It was a defining moment, igniting a passion to learn the art of capturing authentic, unguarded moments. My aim is to direct my lens towards the people I encounter, to narrate their stories through images, to unveil the splendour in diverse locations and landscapes, and to find and celebrate the extraordinary in the ordinary – every day.

Whether it’s family, child, couple, engagement, lifestyle, editorial or commercial photography, my focus is on crafting visuals that exude authenticity and appear effortless, while maintaining the highest quality.

My style and editing are influenced by the classic 35mm film aesthetic. My photographs boast a wide tonal range, rich colour shades, and a look that aims to give images a truthful and timeless feel. Capturing the essence of traditional film photography, each shot is crafted to be as authentic and enduring as the moments they encapsulate.
